Starbase continues to grow and not just at the production or launch site, but all over including this new 444-acre inland site. Located east of the landfill & close to the Port of Brownsville and the ship channel, just north of the main Highway 4 that itself is growing to 4 lanes & eventually even 6 lanes in some places! According to @SpaceX , this site is to expand operations closer to the port. There will be no rocket launches or test stands here … primarily a shipping and logistics hub for increased operations tempo & possibly connections to Kennedy Space Center operations too! SpaceX already has port leases and has talked barging Starships and hardware out of Brownsville. Next door to this site, Lindy is developing industrial gas production SpaceX already uses. And I did note a long pipe coded for natural gas is being laid out along most of the east side, full length of the cleared land site, so that may help give us some clues as to what is happening here.
