Strengthening our skies! Ukraine and Sweden signed a historic agreement to purchase 16 advanced Gripen E fighter jets. These jets will significantly boost our capabilities against drones, cruise missiles, and enemy aviation. As a first step, we’ll receive 16 Gripen C/D jets in early 2027 as military aid, while today’s deal for the E models secures our long-term air superiority. Training is already underway. Thank you to @PlJonson, @ForsvarsdepSv, the Government of Sweden, @Saab, the UK, and all partners for securing Ukrainian skies.

Strengthened our defense tech partnership with Denmark during a meeting with @JeppeBruus in Kyiv. Key focus: implementing the Drone Deal. Ukraine is ready to share unique battlefield data and innovations in exchange for more frontline assets. This is a true win-win for modern warfare tech.
