INJECTIVE PARTNERS WITH MUSICOW TO TOKENIZE MUSIC IP
@injective announced a strategic partnership Thursday with South Korean music ownership platform Musicow to bring music intellectual property rights onchain for fans and investors worldwide.
Music IP has remained almost entirely absent from blockchain-based real-world assets despite institutional capital aggressively acquiring catalogs. Goldman Sachs projects the total music market will reach roughly $200 billion by 2035, doubling from current levels.
Musicow has run the fractional music ownership playbook in Korea since 2017, reaching 1.2 million members and roughly $293 million in transaction volume across 20,000 music IP rights. Musicow US launched in early 2025 with Roc Nation backing.
Injective will provide the global settlement infrastructure. Recent additions to its institutional stack include CFTC-regulated injective-protocol:native futures on Bitnomial Exchange (April), a native EVM mainnet (November 2025), and tokenized equities tracking Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia and others.
Catalog drops featuring "globally recognized artists" are expected in the coming months.
