Insightful visit to @FAMSUN Smart Industrial Park yesterday in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province. Grateful to President Chen Zhengjun for his briefing and detailed tour of the Park. A global leader in integrated solutions for feed, grain, oil, and food processing, FAMSUN continues to excel in innovation, automation, IoT, and data. Observed with great interest its global command center running a real-time troubleshooting session for international clients; also watched its advanced production assembly line. I was particularly impressed by FAMSUN's design and development of smart steel silos for grain storage which are critical for safeguarding reserves and ensuring emergency preparedness. It is encouraging to note FAMSUN is exploring financing options to support such initiatives in Pakistan. Detailed productive interaction with Mr. Wang Jinjian, CPC Yangzhou Party Secretary. Grateful for his warm welcome and hospitality. Yangzhou’s remarkable growth with a GDP exceeding $100 billion & over $14 billion industrial sales mirrors China's great economic & modernization leap forward. I briefed him in detail on Pakistan's economic & investment priorities; plans to mobilize Chinese investments in priority sectors, integrating them with technical & vocational training; encouraged Yangzhou based enterprises to invest in new energy, next generation IT, chemical engineering & food processing sectors for which Pakistan Embassy was ready to co-organize industrial cooperation roadshows in 🇨🇳&🇵🇰. Also emphasized optimizing the potential of Punjab–Jiangsu sister province framework to promote investment, trade, tourism and cultural cooperation. Both sides will follow up on the proposals.
