A scandal has erupted in Moldova after the announcement of the “Eurovision 2026” results
The head of the public broadcaster Teleradio Moldova resigned amid criticism of the jury voting results.
Moldovan viewers awarded 12 points to Romania, 10 to Ukraine, and 8 to Israel.
However, the professional jury distributed the points differently: 12 points went to Poland, 10 to Israel, while Romania received only 3. Ukraine received no points at all.
Blogger Margarita Druță, who announced the results live on air, said she was shocked by the voting and even tried to refuse going on air, but was forced to do so.
