６月に発生したベネズエラ・ボリバル共和国における地震被害に対し、改めて、ベネズエラ・ボリバル共和国の皆様に御見舞いを申し上げます。 我が国は、被災したベネズエラの人々のニーズに寄り添う形の支援として、これまで、緊急援助物資の供与や国際緊急援助隊・医療チームの派遣を行ってまいりました。 ７月１５日には、国際緊急援助隊・医療チームの二次隊が新たにベネズエラに向けて出発しました。 医療チームはこれまでに690名以上の現地の方々を診察しました。 我が国は、350万米ドルの緊急無償資金協力の実施を決定し、世界食糧計画（WFP）、国際赤十字・赤新月社連盟（IFRC）、国際移住機関（IOM）を通じて、食料、保健・医療分野の支援、更にシェルターや生活必需品の供与等の各種人道支援を実施する予定です。 またNGO・経済界・政府による緊急人道支援の仕組であるジャパン・プラットフォーム（JPF）は、日本政府の無償資金協力を財源として、約100万米ドルの人道支援を実施する予定です。 日本政府としては、関係機関・団体と緊密に連携し、引き続き必要な支援を実施していく考えです。 Por los daños causados por el terremoto ocurrido en junio en la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, reitero mis condolencias al pueblo venezolano. Nuestro país ha brindado apoyo que satisface las necesidades del pueblo venezolano afectado, incluyendo el suministro de bienes de ayuda de emergencia y el envío de equipos médicos internacionales de emergencia. El día 15 de julio, un segundo equipo médico partió hacia Venezuela. El equipo médico ha atendido a más de 690 personas hasta la fecha. Además, Japón ha decidido implementar una ayuda de emergencia no reembolsable de 3,5 millones de dólares estadounidenses y, a través del Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA), la Federación Internacional de Sociedades de la Cruz Roja y de la Media Luna Roja (FICR) y la Organización Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM), implementará diversas formas de asistencia humanitaria, como alimentos, apoyo en el sector de la salud y la medicina, y el suministro de refugios y bienes de primera necesidad. Además, Japan Platform (JPF), un mecanismo de ayuda humanitaria de emergencia que involucra a ONG, el sector empresarial y el gobierno, implementará una ayuda humanitaria de aproximadamente 1 millón de dólares estadounidenses, financiada por la ayuda no reembolsable del gobierno japonés. El Gobierno del Japón, en estrecha colaboración con las organizaciones e instituciones pertinentes, continuará brindando el apoyo necesario.
