I made my AI agent sign up for my own SaaS as a new user
- it recorded every user flow and turned them into small motion graphic explainer videos, then posted them on YouTube
- built a full help docs hub around them with real UI screenshots and the videos inside
- shipped the whole thing live on my site through GitHub
- and it found 26 issues in my onboarding, core workflows, and copy
it took about 8 hours, and I spent maybe 10 minutes of my own time
here's how it went:
step 1: it signed up like a real user
I ran the agent on Squad ( which gives every agent their own email inbox, so it signed up with that
I told it the free plan is enough, and that if anything asks for money it should stop and ask me
it went through signup, onboarding, the dashboard, every feature and every setting in about 45 minutes
it came back with 60 screenshots named by flow and step, plus a log of every click, every error, and how long each step took
step 2: the fix list
26 issues, ranked by how much they hurt:
- 6 that cost us signups or trust
- 11 friction and confusing stuff
- 9 polish
each one has what happened, where it happened, the screenshot, why it hurts, and the fix
some of it was honestly embarrassing lol
- we ask for a full billing address before a free account
- the free credits we promise on the homepage aren't shown anywhere in the app
- the same action has 3 different names on 3 different screens
- there's a typo in the footer of our most important email 😭
I've clicked through my own product 100s of times and never saw any of this
you stop seeing your own product after a while. a new user sees it in the first 5 minutes and just leaves without telling you
it also wrote a "what works well" section, which was nice ngl ❤️
step 3: generating the motion graphic videos
one short video per flow, with on-screen captions and music in that X SaaS launch style
it made the first one and sent it to me to approve the style before doing the rest. I said ok and it made all 8
then it uploaded them to my YouTube as private, with titles, descriptions, chapters and thumbnails. all I did was flip them to public
step 4: building the help docs
I pointed it at a help center I like, and it copied the structure
every article answers first, then 3 to 5 numbered steps, bold button names, a "which option should I use" table, and one tiny page per faq
it made 36 articles in total, with real UI screenshots inside and the matching YouTube video at the top of every page 🤩
step 5: live
it built everything inside my actual website repo, in the same design as the rest of the site
it ran the build and checks and sent me a preview link
I said go
it opened a PR on my GitHub, merged it, then opened every live page to check it

here's first the prompt I gave it:
"sign up to (a pay-per-doc e-signature tool) as a brand new user with your email. go through the whole onboarding and use every single feature like a real user would.
while you do it:
- record every step. log every click, every error, anything confusing, and how long each step took
- don't pay for anything, free plan only. if something asks for payment, stop and ask me
then give me:
1. a fix list from a user's pov, ranked by how much it hurts . each item with a screenshot and a potential fix
2. one motion graphic explainer + demo video per flow (signup, sending, etc). no voiceover, captions + music. send me the first one before you make the rest
3. upload the videos to my YouTube as private. I'll make them public
4. a help docs center on my website: one article per flow + short faq pages for anything a user might ask. real UI screenshots and these demo videos inside. build it in my website repo and match the existing design (use as reference)
open a PR. don't merge until I say go."
my entire involvement was approving the video style, saying yes to the preview with some minor changes and making the videos public 🙌
