miir(@0xmiir):my first ever ‘hackathon’ 6 years ago wasn’t a hackathon, but it was an ideathon. big japanese MNC threw out a problem statement and instead of rushing to build the thing, the whole competition revolved around presenting ideas to solve the problem in the most optimal way. my team had a cool AI idea and we won first place (but didnt manage to build it lol) innovation and fresh ideas are becoming increasingly valuable, and we’re seeing incredible teams like @superteam kicking into high gear on hackathons. i’d love to see more ideathons too, especially tackling problem statements around tokenization (or DeFi in general). quite sure @MeteoraAG DBC will be able to serve most if not all the ideas coming out of them.
