Delhi | Central District, Delhi Police brought back a rape accused from abroad through international cooperation (INTERPOL). The operation was executed in coordination with and with the active help of CBI, MHA, and MEA. As per the complaint, the accused, Sajeer Palli Mooppan alias Sajeer PM (38), native of Kannur, Kerala, who was working as a Manager with the company, allegedly sexually assaulted the victim at a hotel in Karol Bagh after making her consume alcohol and intoxicating substances during a birthday party, organised at a lounge in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. As the internal enquiry against him proceeded as per the POSH framework on the basis of the victim's complaint, the accused fled India on 05.01.2026 and subsequently started working at a plumbing accessories shop in Dubai, UAE. On 18.02.2026, the victim approached Delhi Police and lodged a formal complaint. Through sustained efforts and coordination with national and international agencies, the accused's location was established in the United Arab Emirates.
