ATF HQ(@ATFHQ):▶️NIBIN Win: In June 2024, a Florida drive by killed a mother and her 4 year old. A tip identified the shooter. One month later in Georgia, that same suspect crashed during a chase and ran into the woods, dropping a bookbag. Atlanta ATF K-9s found the bag, with his ID and two guns inside, one with a machinegun conversion device. His DNA was on both guns. NIBIN showed that one of those guns was used in an Atlanta shooting two weeks earlier. He was arrested, pled guilty, and was sentenced in August to 25 months. The Florida murder case is still pending trial.
