Satoshi Moving Bitcoin?! Seven dormant miner wallets holding 50 bitcoin:native each suddenly became active after 16.5 years. Whale Alert reported the wallets awakened on September 5, drawing attention across the Bitcoin market. Galaxy Research recently recorded 893,391 daily transactions, marking one of Bitcoin’s busiest days ever. Researchers estimate 33,995 unspent 50 BTC rewards remain from Bitcoin’s pre-halving period. Out of these 21,922 outputs, which are estimated to be valued at around 1.096 million BTC, are claimed to have been mined by the Patoshi miner. This kind of mining activity is linked to Satoshi Nakamoto, but there has never been any confirmation of that. The amount of BTC estimated to have been mined by Satoshi is about 1.096 million BTC. This total is about 64.5% of the unspent Coinbase transactions of 50 BTC. The mining operation gradually slowed before reportedly shutting down completely in May 2010. Despite the renewed activity, there is no evidence confirming Satoshi personally moved these coins.
