Monero Prepares For a Major Privacy Test
Monero (
@monero) monero:native has released beta stressnet v3 as testing continues for FCMP++ and CARROT. The new version comes ahead of the planned October 5 stressnet hard fork.
FCMP++ is designed to expand Monero’s transaction anonymity set across the blockchain. The upgrade replaces smaller decoy groups with full chain membership proofs.
The latest release also includes wallet, transaction relay, and performance changes.
Monero developers are asking users to test the software and report issues.
