Speaking of Anomaly: while playing Acolyte of Chaos, which doesn't need to activate every shrine to get its second evo, I realized that the shrine that deals damage to everything visible on the map one-shots it. Also, if you're having trouble dodging the Wave 20 boss grab, here's a little tip: He raises his sword right before casting it. You just need to get the timing right and dodge when you see the animation.
