🚩 A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for portions of Northern California through 5 p.m. today.
Gusty winds and low humidity are creating critical fire weather conditions across portions of the Sacramento Valley and adjacent foothills. Any fire that starts could spread rapidly.
During periods of elevated fire danger:
🔥 Avoid activities that could create a spark.
🚗 Never park or drive over dry grass.
⛓️Secure trailer chains so they don’t drag on the roadway.
🏠 Take time to clear leaves, needles and other combustible material from around your home.
📱 Report new fire starts and be prepared if wildfire threatens your community.
