Codex can build me an entire app, but getting it to reliably use my existing Chrome session has required so much handholding. The issue I’ve repeatedly hit is - “Chrome is open, but computer use stops because it “couldn’t verify the current URL.” I end up reconnecting Chrome, restarting Codex, or repeatedly saying “try again” to get moving. Sometimes it’s just not patient enough to verify the URL. Does anyone have a fix for this? I don’t want to just default to the Chrome agent every time. If not, I really hope this is something they can fix during DevDay because this is an awful experience. Also, a lot of people can attest to GPT 6 needing to be constantly be pushed to do something. If I say “build this app”, with specified parameters, it’ll just come back to me and say “I can do this” ?! Why isn’t it just doing it?
