BP EYES $2–5 BILLION U.S. SHALE DEAL
BP is evaluating acquisitions to expand its U.S. shale business, according to Reuters sources.
The company has reportedly studied oil-heavy shale assets worth $2–5 billion and is considering a bid for Devon Energy’s Eagle Ford assets.
The move could significantly expand BP’s exposure to U.S. onshore oil production.
