Russia is using increasingly unconventional methods to position its air-defense systems around Moscow.
The latest footage shows a Russian Pantsir deployed directly on an elevated MKAD overpass near the Moscow oil refinery, using existing urban infrastructure as a high point for radar coverage and engagement against low-flying drones.
It’s another example of how the drone war is changing the way Russia deploys its defenses. Instead of relying only on traditional military positions, Russia is adapting its air-defense network to the urban environment, using rooftops, towers and now major highway structures.
