The English Remnant(@Englishremnant):Archaeologists in ancient Nicaea, now İznik in Turkey, believe they have uncovered the church that hosted the First Council of Nicaea in AD 325. It was here that the bishops rejected Arianism and affirmed that Jesus Christ is fully divine, begotten, not made, and of one being with the Father. Newly uncovered walls, paving and a column base may mark the exact place where the Nicene faith was first proclaimed ☦
