Back then, though, there were more common-sense Democrats. The point I’m getting at is that on holidays and gatherings, we were all just friends and family. We weren’t Democrats and Republicans. We enjoyed each other’s company and had great conversations without wanting to kill each other five minutes in. I doubt it will ever be like that again.
