LP Farming Robinhood Stock Pairs for Dummies 🧑🌾
Step 1: Set up your wallet
Robinhood Chain is EVM compatible and supported by most wallets including
@MetaMask,
@Rabby_io, and
@OKX.
If the chain doesn't appear automatically, add it manually with the following setup:
RPC:
Chain ID: 4663
Symbol: ETH
Explorer:
Bridge in with
@RelayProtocol or
@AcrossProtocol, or use
@Arbitrum Portal for canonical bridging.
*You'll generally need both tokens in the pair, plus ETH for gas if you wish to provide equal sided liquidity.
Step 2: Pick your pool
Start from the yield, not the token. Sort every stock-paired pool by Fee APR %, 24h fees, TVL or volume on
What to check before you commit:
- Volume vs Liq: high volume on thin liquidity is where APR comes from, and also why it doesn't last
- Age: a 2h old pool has no track record
- Fee %: the tier decides how much of each trade you keep
Step 3: Set your range
On
@Uniswap v3 and v4 you pick a price range. This decides your actual return.
Full range: always earns, capital spread thin
Custom range: earns more while price sits inside, earns nothing once it leaves
⚠️ Out of range means your position goes single-sided and stops earning fees.
Step 4: Add liquidity
Hit Manage LP straight from the APR tracker, or on
Explore > Tokens > Stocks > Selected Stock > Pools > Selected Pool and Fee Tier > Add Liquidity > Set Range > Amounts > Review > Add Liquidity
Note: your position arrives as an NFT on v3 and v4.
Step 5: Monitor your position!
Fee APR is annualized from 24 hours. It is not a rate you'll get for a year.
It also drops as more LPs pile in, since the same fees split more ways. Re-check against what you entered at and watch for APR decay.
Pro tip: on v3 and v4 you can claim fees without closing the position.
Step 6: Stay SAFU and DYOR
Impermanent loss is real. If prices diverge you end up holding more of the loser, and it can eat the fees entirely.
May you farm safely, farmer.
