Iranian photojournalist Yalda Moaiery has been sentenced to 15 years in prison under a law enacted after the 2025 Israel-Iran war.
Known for documenting dissent and women’s lives in Iran, Moaiery said IRGC intelligence officers raided her home twice and seized her electronic equipment amid a widening crackdown.
