End of Watch: Corrections Officer Victor Hunter September 16, 2011 Today, we remember Corrections Officer Victor Hunter, who joined LVMPD in 2007, at the age of 46, leaving behind a successful career to pursue his true calling. He entered the academy alongside his son, Christopher, making history as the first father-son duo to graduate together. Hunter’s dedication to his faith, family, and service was unmatched. Known for his warm spirit, love of singing, and time spent outdoors, he brought joy and kindness wherever he went. Hunter's four-year career with the LVMPD ended far too soon when he passed away after a medical episode at the Clark County Detention Center. He is survived by his beloved wife, Noreta, his three children, and a large extended family who loved him deeply. His legacy of faith, love, and service lives on.
