The Surgeon General Wrote That He'd Been Hearing Concerns About Effects on the Developing Fetus. That Never Reached a Single Patient.
Newly released 2021 texts show senior federal health officials privately discussing possible effects of mRNA vaccination on pregnancy — including on fetal development. The public guidance running at the same time was unqualified: safe, recommended, no bad time. Whether those concerns were ultimately borne out is a separate question from whether women were entitled to hear them. They were. They didn't.
