Does this SEVERELY hurt the memory trade? $MU $DRAM $SKHY During the latest @moonshots_pod clip, Immad said, "The US blocked faster Chinese silicon, so they built around cheap DRAM. DRAM got expensive, so they invented around it. A stealth “01” model was GLM on new @Huawei chips. Memory is ~50% of spend and you can’t just upgrade it. In a couple of months, at their pace, those models won’t need much memory. Here's the rub. I don't know if this is true, or just a narrative being pushed by the Chinese government, but either way it could be damaging to the memory sector's price action + I don't love the charts I'm look at either. So, MAYBE it's best to be prepared for a damaging narrative over the short term either way? If anyone finds anything to counter this narrative, please let me know.
