the privacy situation with AI coding tools is getting ridiculous SpaceXAI: secretly copies your entire codebase to xAI’s cloud OpenAI: automatically uses your Codex conversations and code to train its models unless you turn it off Anthropic: won’t let companies use its most powerful models unless it can keep every prompt and response for 30 days at this point, if your company is still handing its private data directly to these labs instead of running AI through a private AI platform (like Venice)… i don’t have time to try to convince you, sorry.
