Capcom has announced that 93% of its consumer game sales were digital in the fiscal year.
The company sold a record 59.07 million units, with digital downloads making up the vast majority.
Digital sales are projected to reach 95.4% in the current fiscal year.
Catalog titles (older games) accounted for 83.7% of total units sold, showing the long-term strength of Capcom’s back catalog through digital distribution.
