Warhorse Studios, developer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, has confirmed that the next game in the Kingdom Come series will be a full open-world RPG.
Warhorse PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling said the studio is currently working on two open-world RPGs, one in the Kingdom Come world and another set in Middle-earth.
The new game is expected to release between April 2027 and March 2028, based on Embracer Group’s current schedule.
Warhorse has not called the game “Kingdom Come: Deliverance III,” leading many fans to think it could be a new story with different characters instead of a direct sequel.
“We have two open-world RPGs in development,”
Reports also say that developer Prokop Jirsa will help lead the future of the Kingdom Come franchise, while Viktor Bocan is working on the studio’s new Lord of the Rings RPG.
