Pragmata director Cho Yonghee says the team knew there could be “uncomfortable” discussions about Diana and wanted to address them early.
He said, “Some conversations need to happen early,” adding that Diana was designed to feel “warm and relatable” in the game’s cold sci-fi world.
This comes after fans started calling themselves the “Diana Police” in response to inappropriate posts about the childlike android.
Most players have pushed back against that behavior and said that Diana’s relationship with protagonist Hugh is about trust and teamwork.
“We’re gonna have to bully modders into not making porn of the child android.”
