Normally, when someone disconnects during combat, their character becomes unresponsive and eventually disappears. But some players are now seeing disconnected characters continue moving and fighting on their own. >In one reported case, an Evoker disconnected during a fight but then continued attacking. >Another player said his brother’s Warrior disconnected and, around 30 seconds later, the character charged into the boss and started attacking again. Some people said that Blizzard may be testing a new disconnect protection system that uses AI-controlled character tech to keep a player active after losing connection.
