Calling it a night. Hope my Cybercab launch event coverage was at least somewhat helpful. Tried to capture what I could and get as much info out as possible with limited wifi/connection. There's probably a few other tidbits of info that I'll think of in the coming days. I agree the presentation should have been live-streamed, but it became clear that this event was mainly a celebration for employees who worked on this thing (there were 250 of them there). I probably spoke to 40 of them today. They're super excited. I recorded and posted the full presentation on 𝕏 if you want to check it out. Tesla called it the Cybercab launch event, and that's what they did. They launched Unsupervised Cybercabs with no steering wheels on their Robotaxi network, with general public rides starting on Friday. It's the start of a new era. What I will say is, when the Model Y Robotaxis launched in June of 2025, they had 11 of those for just 25 of us invitees. Today, there were over 150 non-employee invitees (including plus ones) and Cybercab wait times were often better than the June 2025 launch wait times, despite the much higher service demand and a 10x larger service area than what we had in June 2025.
