NEW: ICE Agents Seen at Federal Plaza in Manhattan, amid Nationwide Arrest Ban at Immigration Courthouses.
NYC Comptroller Brad Lander visited 26 Federal Plaza on Wednesday in Lower Manhattan just one day after winning New York City’s congressional primary.
Several agents who had previously worn face coverings appeared to no longer wear masks on Wednesday. As Lander walked, agents appeared to avoid him, as Lander exited the building, one federal agent was observed congratulating him on his victory.
