Lending market stablecoin supply rates have on average underperformed short-term US Treasury yields since late 2025. The one brief exception came around the rsETH exploit, when lenders pulled liquidity and utilization spiked. Curated vaults offer a potential way to beat the onchain average. Rather than passive exposure to pooled rates, depositors hold a managed portfolio of underlying credit positions, weighted by the curator to a target risk-return profile. The early results back this up. Over the past 90 days, 13 of the top 16 Steakhouse vaults by AUM outperformed the market-weighted supply rate net of fees, with the top vault returning over 1.5x the benchmark.
