Foxconn is putting more capital into its US AI manufacturing base.
The company announced a $188 million capital increase for its fully owned US subsidiary Q-Edge Corporation. After the injection, total investment in Q-Edge reaches $226 million while ownership stays at 100%.
Q-Edge handles Foxconn’s localized manufacturing and operations in the United States, with sites in Indiana and Houston.
It focuses on hardware assembly and has been expanding capacity for high-performance computing and AI servers.
The market reads the move as further scaling of US AI product output to meet customer demand for domestic production.
Foxconn executives have already flagged that AI capacity needs remain very strong into next year and that capital spending will keep rising across the US, Mexico, Vietnam and Taiwan.
Full-year 2026 group capital expenditure is expected to grow more than 30% as the company advances server cabinets, liquid cooling, testing and regional manufacturing footprints.
