🇨🇳China ministries unveil measures to boost RV consumption China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the CHINA STATE PLANNER, together with eight other ministries, issued measures to promote recreational vehicle (RV) consumption, streamlining RV registration, scrappage and driver training/exam rules. Authorities will study revising the national motor-vehicle classification standard to clarify RV registration requirements. Small/micro non‑commercial self‑propelled RVs will follow the service life rules for small/micro non‑commercial passenger cars and will not face a mandatory scrappage limit; rental small/micro self‑propelled RVs' allowable service life is extended from 15 to 25 years, and travel trailers' from 15 to 20 years. Regions are encouraged to expand driver-training services and add C6 driving-license test centres to ease licensing for RV users. (
