It is the most severe cross-border disaster between the two countries in recent years. The complexity and difficulty of the relief work are unprecedented. While urgently carrying out emergency rescue and self-recovery efforts, China extended a helping hand at the earliest moment to support Nepal in its emergency disaster response. A package of assistance from China to Nepal is being implemented, including urgent cash assistance and humanitarian aid. China’s disaster relief supplies will arrive in Kathmandu soon.
