Four gang members who ransacked a Coventry home armed with machetes and threatened the occupants have been jailed for a combined total of 32 years. Mohammed Ramirez, Junior Yawli, Nathan Evans and Sebastian Kandrac carried out the attack last year.
This reinforces how our streets have become battlegrounds. When masked thugs with machetes can invade homes without fear of immediate consequences, we know our system has failed to deter crime.
We need proper punishment that removes these dangers from society for good.
