Probably because for the last decade+ the US has been importing foreign beef, refusing to label it, and the meat packer monopoly then gets a free pass to undercut our American ranchers who aren’t able to differentiate their product from the foreign stuff. Our ranchers aren’t getting rich. Our ranchers have been driven to the brink thanks in large part to foreign imports. So now the solution is…more foreign imports and no labels?
