Many comments asking about the mobile Apps for the Apple Store and Google Play Store, so let us address it. In order to submit the Touch Grass application, there are several steps that need to be completed first. 1) Different requirements for each operating system. Apple and Google have different policies, technical requirements and review processes/timings. What is accepted on one platform is not automatically accepted on the other, so both versions need to be prepared and reviewed separately, adding to the team's workload. 2) Location, camera and privacy permissions. Touch Grass relies on location and camera access as part of Proof of Presence, which means we need to clearly explain why those permissions are required, how they are used and make sure we only collect the information actually necessary for the app to function. Privacy requirements today is a major issue and it changes depending on the platform and countries, so this part requires a lot of attention. Government fines on Privacy issues are quite heavy and can put a start-up out of business. 3) Crypto + rewards = more scrutiny. We are not submitting a regular app here. Touch Grass is crypto-based and rewards users for verified actions. Any app involving crypto, wallets, rewards or even financial-related features receive much more scrutiny during the review process and we need to make sure every part of the app complies with the Apple Store and Google Play policies. 4) Testing is another very time-consuming part of the process. We don't want to submit an app that still has potential bugs, crashes every time or issues that make someone download it once and never use it again. Before submission, we want the mobile experience to be smooth and reliable. We are working day and night on those to get it done as soon as possible, but keep in mind guys: Touch Grass is not even one month old yet. In this short time, we have already introduced multiple new features while constantly fixing bugs, improving the experience and fighting spoofing/fraud basically every day. We know attention in crypto moves fast but we rather launch a solid app a bit later than a broken one now. And we never gave anybody a reason to doubt the project...
