Someday soon I’ll never have a human drive me ever again
The California Public Utilities Commission has expanded Waymo’s authorized service area in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as in Southern California, including San Diego for the first time.
Service won’t be active in this entire are immediately, but Waymo is not permitted to expand across this area as they’re ready.
It would be really exciting if we could take autonomous rides all the way from Los Angeles to San Diego!
