A month after launch, Dressmaker has roughly 17,500 reviews at 98% positive and still averages more than 15,000 concurrent players.
Sabrina Becker, co-creator at Cozy Lives, said they were “definitely targeting women from the get-go.”
Becker says women are an underserved market who love games but often skip them because too few titles match their interests.
She pointed to the steady audience for dress-up games on Roblox, including adult women, as evidence of the demand.
The team treated dressmaking as a stereotypically feminine interest and leaned into that tone on purpose, with male players as a welcome side effect.
