Claude just released Agent View: a single unified list that shows all your running agent sessions in one place. You can start multiple agents at the same time. Each one runs independently in the background without taking up any terminal windows. The real difficulty for developers has never been the AI not generating code fast enough. It’s the mental accounting that comes with handling parallel tasks, keeping track of what each agent is doing, which context belongs where, and what still needs attention. Now a lot of that mental load gets handled by the CLI. You mainly need to act as the commander. The next stage of AI programming probably isn’t about making autocomplete even smarter.
