People use "trustless" constantly. Half of them mean the wrong thing. A quick clear-up 👇
🟠 Does "trustless" mean nothing can be trusted?
The reverse. It means you don't have to trust anyone, because you can verify the result yourself.
🟠 Verify it how?
With a cryptographic proof. The system shows its work in a form that math can check and nobody can fake.
🟠 So who am I trusting instead?
No single party. You rely on the proof, and anyone, anywhere, can run the same check and land on the same answer.
🟠Where does Brevis come in?
We take heavy computation off-chain and hand back a proof it ran correctly. The chain verifies the proof, not the company behind it.
The short version: trustless moves trust off of people and onto proof. Learn more about Brevis 👇
