Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called on the "international community" not to be complacent: The creation of a new maritime route between Iran and Oman does not mean that the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened. The current situation is a result of the United States' violation of the memorandum of understanding, and the United States must fully rectify these violations. We will not allow the violations of the memorandum of understanding to go unpunished, and we will not allow Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz to be questioned.
