Nexperia, the Dutch automotive chipmaker, has tapped Tata Electronics to manufacture and package its power control chips (MOSFETs) in India, Reuters reports, the first major publicly announced foundry + packaging client for Tata, which has also been in talks with Analog Devices, NXP, others. Taiwan’s PSMC teamed up with Tata on its 300mm fab, including design, construction, training engineers, and licensing production technology. #India# #Tata# #semiconductors#
