The top 10% of American earners won't notice the difference between $129 and $149. They're the customers to build for this Q4. @natelagos explains: "The bottom 90%, and maybe it's creeping up, maybe it's the bottom 94% now, they are struggling. They're going to be pinching pennies every single place they can. But those top 5% are not." "Every time we get a conversion rate win from a new headline or PDP graphic, we immediately go try to raise the price of that product, because it gives us the breathing room." "You do not want the customers that need your discounts. You want the customers that aren't going to sweat an extra 5 or 10 or 20 bucks an order." @chrislukehall agrees, but he still thinks a good loss leader offer can rule the world: "In my heart of hearts, I still would love to be like Mixue, the world's biggest fast food chain, mogging McDonald's by offering 45 cent cones."

Traditional luxury meets new luxury as Four Seasons Yachts just announced "The Lanserhof Reset", an eight-day longevity program on a transatlantic crossing in November. Suites from $18,000 to $240,000. The pairing: Four Seasons' thread count and service, with Lanserhof, the Austrian clinic that's led European medical wellness since 1984; fasting protocols, diagnostics. It's for the "Movement Class." A generation replacing traditional status symbols with health, longevity, and performance. The signal used to be the watch, the car, the address. Now it's the VO2 max, the biological age, the finisher time. A transatlantic crossing was once sold on the ballroom, the wine list, the deck chairs. This one is sold on diagnostics, a personalized protocol, breathwork, anti-inflammatory cuisine, and a daily chlorophyll shot.
