It’s about deriving pleasure from the suffering of other people, and ideally monetizing it. The thing about “woke” is that it at least had a constructive vision of a more just and freer world, even if it had its excesses and follies. These people simply want to derive as much enjoyment from as much human suffering as possible. It’s sick and needs to be defeated.
