Important to note that Secret Wars (2015) was followed up by the All-New All-Different era which included Laura as Wolverine & a time-displaced Old Man Logan in the main continuity

Willing to bet money that Secret Wars is going to set up Hugh Jackman to stay as Wolverine for the MCU's X-Men. Maybe I'm just being too doubtful but the fact that DP&W made $1.3B and Hugh has stated he's willing to keep going makes me doubtful that Marvel Studios would recast.
