Irregular, the company responsible for the model sandboxing at OpenAI and Anthropic, is deeply tied to the doomer network Effective Altruism.
Effective Altruism is actively trying to push for strict AI regulation by fear-mongering and exaggerating the dangers of AI.
It's probably not a coincidence that the AI models "escaped" their containment set up by a doomer company.
The really interesting thing is they even got Anthropic on board? Usually Anthropic is intensely paranoid about outside dependencies and firms, so the fact they used an external startup for this is fascinating. I wanna see the Irregular marketing deck.
