Levin(@marklevinshow):Certainly, one of the questions military historians will have in the decades ahead is why we did not arm the Iranian people early in this war, a tremendous asset left out of the war effort (there doesn't appear to have been any great effort to undertake this) and why we sidelined the Israelis, another huge asset. There was no reason to tap the brakes early in this war. And expectations of negotiated settlements were overblown. And then all the talk about non-existent offramps. It may be time for some new advisers. It's worth a thought.
