Matt Van Swol(@mattvanswol):My son broke his arm today so I took him out for ice cream and said he could get a LEGO set and we could build it together. We went to Walmart. Every single LEGO set, even ones that were $7.99, were locked up behind glass. We walked down another isle… same thing. Every single week I have walked in here and more items are locked up behind glass and it takes FOREVER to have anyone help you open something and they make you feel awful for it. It’s honestly barely worth shopping here at all… I felt so bad for my kid. We ended up just leaving without a LEGO set. Whatever we are doing with society that has brought us here… it’s gotta end. This is insane and it’s destroying childhood.
